Evening Shift Caregiver (2 PM – 6 PM) | Pocatello, ID
Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to support our clients during our busiest hours — 2 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time work with the potential for additional hours based on availability and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate regularly with the care team
Schedule:
- Primary Shift: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Weekdays)
- Additional hours may be available depending on staffing needs and caregiver availability
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience (1 year preferred)
- Understanding of basic cooking and household duties
- Willingness to follow health and safety protocols
- Compassionate, respectful, and dependable
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Physical endurance to assist with mobility and transfers
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Clean background (required)
