On-Call Caregiver – Pocatello

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable On-Call Caregiver to join our team in Pocatello. This role is essential in providing in-home support to clients and making a meaningful impact in their lives. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Help with light housekeeping and errands as needed.
- Be available to travel to surrounding areas (e.g., Hamer, Atomic City, Idaho Falls) in the event of a call-out.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided.
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable to changing schedules and client needs.
- Must be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Additional Information:
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week.
- One week of training, followed by a one-week trial period.
- This is an on-call position, and caregivers must be available during designated times as needed.
- Travel within Pocatello and surrounding areas is required.
- Training and ongoing support provided to ensure success in the role.
