What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Process Technician position at Har-Conn Chrome Company?
The Chemical Process Technician is responsible for analyzing process solutions, logging results properly and computing and making the necessary chemical make-up/additions to the solutions. Perform all routine and non-routine analysis of process tanks to determine their chemical concentration and ensure the concentrations are kept within the appropriate operating range by making the necessary chemical additions or dilutions to the process tanks. Additional Lab Technician tasks may include assistance with maintaining chemical inventory by unloading chemical deliveries, putting delivered chemicals into storage and logging chemicals used. Assist in trouble-shooting bath issues, or assisting co-workers with related tasks when needed. Lab Techs are required to maintain Har-Conn Chrome Co. and industry required analysis documentation. Adheres to ALL HCC and OSHA safety and PPE regulations/policies. Experienced preferred but willing to train the right candidate who is eager and willing to learn about our industry! Pay commensurate with experience.
