What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician II position at Harba Solutions?
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cell culture techniques, including routine maintenance, passaging, and freezing of cells.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of experiments involving cell-based assays, PCR, Western blotting, and other molecular biology techniques.
- Prepare and sterilize lab media, buffers, and reagents for experiments.
- Conduct routine analysis and record experimental data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
- Monitor the condition of laboratory equipment and instruments, perform regular calibration and maintenance, and notify supervisors of any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment by following all safety protocols and keeping records of hazardous materials.
- Assist in preparing materials for lab meetings, presentations, and publications.
- Collaborate with the research team in interpreting experimental results and troubleshooting issues with protocols.
- Order and maintain laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring that inventory is stocked and within expiration dates.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory and quality standards, including those related to safety and data management.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
