Job Summary
As a Parts Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and providing parts for vehicle services. Your responsibilities will include inventory control, procurement management, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sourcing and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels to meet shop demands
- Procure parts needed for automotive services
-Inspect all parts ordered before installation on any vehicle to ensure safety / quality of all parts.
-Marking all stock items with current market pricing to ensure billing is accurate.
-Maintain a neat and organized work area.
-Ensure all pricing for parts on work orders is accurate and precise before handing work order over to billing department
- Fabricate or order specialized parts as necessary (hydraulic lines, brake lines, etc)
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries and orders
Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive service or parts management is highly desirable
-Mechanic background is desired.
- Proficiency in inventory control and demand planning
- Strong knowledge of procurement management and sourcing practices
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively address inquiries and orders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
