What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Harborcreek Youth Services?
Provides renovations, construction, maintenance and refurbishing of assigned projects, and works in conjunction with and provides assistance to other maintenance personnel whenever necessary.
Provides carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting needs, etc. for assigned projects.
Helps maintain the safety and serviceability of the physical plant and equipment of the agency.
Establishes good working relationships with supervisory staff and co-workers in order to increase communication, productivity and effectiveness of the overall maintenance program.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or certificate in electrical maintenance preferred. High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in facility maintenance required. Knowledge of carpentry, electricity, plumbing and general maintenance required. Detail and task oriented. Valid PA driver's license.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
PA Child Abuse History, PA Criminal Record Check and FBI Fingerprint clearances are required upon hire.
