Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Services to oversee and lead our social services department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, behavioral health, program development, budgeting, supervising, administrative tasks, social work, relationship management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Long Term Care experience along with a BSW, MSW, and/or LCSW is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social service programs to meet the needs of the community
- Manage and supervise social services staff to ensure effective service delivery
- Oversee budgeting and financial management for social service programs
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance in addressing complex social issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Proven experience in managing social service programs
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in social services
- Commitment to promoting the well-being of individuals and families

Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
