Compensation and Benefits:

Job Summary:  Perform a combination of duties to facilitate food service in a casual café setting. Deliver excellent customer service to each member that visits the café.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Prepare ingredients daily for food, smoothies, and juices.
• Serve fresh food & smoothies prepared to club standards.
•   Set up and monitor all food & smoothie work stations.
• Clean & organize workstations, and any other areas in café.
• Properly bill members for orders, turn in checks and cash deposits at the end of the shift.
• Daily, Clean up, remove trash and lock all area of the café and close up the operations.
• Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the café.

Job Requirements: include the following, but are not limited to:

• Conduct day-to-day operations of the Lakeside café in a business-like and ethical and professional manner.
• Must speak English and communicate in a polite and courteous manner.
• Maintain good working relationships and strive to exceed customer expectations of club members, guests, and employees.
• Establish and maintain a clean and professional workspace.
• Dress appropriately per uniform standards and well groomed.
• Demonstrate record of good work attendance and reliability; regular and punctual in attendance.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work habits and work schedule.
• Use time effectively; complete work in a timely manner.
• Comply with company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook or as demonstrated as common practice.
• Seek to improve self in knowledge and skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; occasionally works in wet or humid conditions; occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. On a regular basis, will be working with knives & sharp tools, as well as in or around ovens, heat etc.
