Summary : At Harcros Chemicals Inc., an employee-owned company with a rich legacy in specialty chemical manufacturing and distribution, we're continuously expanding. With 2 manufacturing plants and 27 distribution facilities across 20 states, we're seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk / CSR professional to join our team to assist with opportunities. Reporting to the Office Manager this role will be responsible for compiling and processing orders for materials or merchandise received through mail, phone, or in-person from customers or company staff. Primary Responsibilities & Duties :
Count materials, merchandise, or supplies in stock and update inventory records. Receive inbound materials, verifying quantity, pricing, and freight costs; order out-of-stock items. Match vendor invoices with purchase orders.
Take orders via phone, fax, or mail, ensuring accuracy before entering them into the computer system. Generate shipping documents and check customer credit.
Invoice customers for shipments, process credits for container and drum returns, and manage new customer account setups. Handle accounts payable, including freight billings and vendor invoices.
Schedule deliveries, route trucks, and inform customers about shipping dates, potential delays, and other necessary information.
Collaborate with production, sales, shipping, and warehouse personnel to resolve issues related to shipments.
Check inventory levels, input orders for out-of-stock items, and confirm the arrival of new inventory.
Prepare invoices and shipping documents, issue credit memos, and process corrected billings.
Obtain certificates of analysis and compliance.
Schedule production of products as necessary and coordinate shipments to other branch locations.

Education and / or Experience :
High school Diploma or General Education Degree
1-3 years related experience and / or training
CRM experience preferred.
And / or equivalent combination of education and experience
The Required Skills We Are Looking For :
Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence, and effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers or employees.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Proficient in calculating figures and amounts, such as discounts and percentages, and applying basic algebra.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use Office 365 applications
