Customer Service Representative
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for being the first line of contact for Harcros. This may include email, mail, telephone, web portal, or in person by internal & external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities may vary by location.
- This position must be able to handle a large volume of emails, phone calls and sales order processing.
- Will be the liaison between customers and internal & external associates.
- Processing orders for material or merchandise received from customers.
- Responsible for interacting with customers & suppliers via email, phone call, and web portal.
- Participate in general office duties such as filing, ordering office supplies, sort and deliver mail, and more.
- Enter orders into computer, check inventory levels, generating shipping papers, and check customer credit.
- Constant communication with customers regarding their order status.
- Being the point of contact for external & internal departments such as customers, suppliers, warehouse, shipping & freight carriers.
- Check orders for accuracy. Gather & attaches required additional documentation.
- Prepare & process invoices, issue credit memos, and assist Credit Dept. by checking customer payment status.
- Processes vendor invoices, freight bills, product returns, freight claims, and corrected billings.
- Maintains signature file of additional forms for customer order release.
- Schedule production of product as necessary.
- Coordinates shipments to other branch facilities and customers.
