Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plumbing & HVAC Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling, coordination, and communication between customers and our service technicians. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and strong customer service abilities to provide a seamless experience for both clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch plumbing and HVAC technicians to service calls, installations, and emergencies.
- Prioritize and adjust work orders based on urgency, technician availability, and location.
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of job details, technician status, and service completion in the dispatch system.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure efficient routing and resource allocation.
- Assist technicians with job-related inquiries, including parts, directions, and job details.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Handle incoming service requests, gathering necessary details to create accurate work orders.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to optimize scheduling for both routine and urgent jobs.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher, customer service representative, or in a related administrative role (experience in the plumbing or HVAC service industry preferred, but not required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dispatch software, scheduling tools, and office applications (experience with ServiceTitan is preferred, but not required)
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
