Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Stewarding Supervisor, the incumbent performs heavy duty housekeeping duties in back of house areas for the food & beverage department. Duties include, but are not limited to floor/carpet care, detail cleaning of equipment, washing, sweeping, sanitizing, and trash removal.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Board Regulations and Hard Rock Casino Rockford departmental policies and
- Washing, scrubbing or polishing utensils such as pots, pans, trays, silverware and
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors and disposing of garbage.
- Removes garbage, separates and places in designated
- Breakdown and assembly of kitchen for proper cleaning and sanitization to include but not limited to ovens, ranges, broilers, deep fryers, griddles, grills, stoves, hoods and
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen walls, hood vents, coolers and freezers (both walk-in and reach- in), and ceilings (including air vents and light fixtures).
- Cleans and sanitizes all
- Cleans and scrubs the dock and trash
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen floors and drains in all food and beverage service areas.
- Removes, cleans, and sanitizes kitchen floor mats and ensures proper

ABILITY TO:

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
- Three (3) years' experience with commercial/industrial cleaning equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board standards.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must be at least twenty-one (18) years of age.
