POSITION SUMMARY :

Performs advanced level repairs and maintenance on all Slot machines and peripheral equipment. Demonstrates superior technical skills regarding problem solving, troubleshooting and repairing slot products. Delivers superior customer service with attention to detail. Highly adaptable individual able to oversee projects from conception to completion. Sets an example of other Technicians to follow while also promoting the company’s goals and values!

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Assumes responsibility of Slot Tech Supervisor during Supervisors absence.
Performs advanced repairs, preventative maintenance, modifications and relocations of slot machines and peripheral devices
Conducts minor repairs on monitors and MPU circuitry under the supervision of the Electronic Technician
Ensures all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards and coordinates with Slot Technical and Slot Operations staff to ensure maximum efficiency
Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position.
Calculates / performs progressive variance adjustments and any machine repairs
Assists in the coordination and performs any machine moves, modifications and conversions while prioritizing workloads and other projects
Circulates through the assigned area performing repairs as necessary
Investigates accounting variances of slot machines and completes any necessary repairs
Responsible for the initial set up and testing of all new slot products
Completes all regulatory / operational documents thoroughly and legibly
Assists in the training of subordinates and the development of new methods and techniques for training manuals
Maintains the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times
Delivers superior customer service when repairing any equipment
Assists in maintaining parts inventory under the direction of the Slot Tech Supervisor and Slot Manager.
Follows all Internal Policy and Procedures as well as all Virginia Lottery Laws and Regulations.

Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE OF :

Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

Team Leadership and motivational skills

Electronics at the circuit board level.

Technical experience and training with slots.

Electronic and computer programming.

The ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment

Exhibits superior communications skills and abilities

Must possess ability to solve practical problems using technical and industry knowledge!

Must have completed all electronic educational requirements.

Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization and manage multiple projects

Time management and project management skills

Collaboration and flexibility required

Knowledge of Database and Internet communication technologies

Microsoft Office Tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. As well as the use of Apple products such as iPod / iPhone.

This position spends time on the casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume.

Observe and direct actions of subordinates / trainees.

Inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.

Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.

Use all machine test equipment.
