The Shift Leader assists the General Manager or Person In Charge in managing restaurant activities, ensuring consistency with the business plan. They oversee Crew Persons and Team Leaders, guaranteeing job responsibilities are met and expectations exceeded.
Essential Functions:
- Delivers exceptional customer service and quality products to ensure total satisfaction.
- Improves skills and performance of all Crew Persons.
- Supports efforts to maximize sales and profits by assisting management and leading work shift activities.
- Complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills for effective internal and external interactions.
- Attends training to stay current on industry trends.
- Participates in company meetings, webinars, and conference calls.
Position Qualifications/Core Competencies:
- Approximately two to three years of experience and/or education in restaurant management.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Team building and investigative skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems.
- Reliable personal transportation and valid driver's license.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
Work Environment:
