Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking are required. The successful candidate must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds during a scheduled work shift. Additionally, they must be able to see with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance, and be able to handle emergency and/or crisis situations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma required; completion of a two-year radiology program with an associate's degree preferred. Current certification as a radiologic technologist is essential, as is current BLS/CPR certification.

- Position patients on examining tables and adjust equipment to obtain optimal views of specific body areas
- Use beam-restrictive devices and patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images
- Process exposed radiographs using film processors or computer-generated methods
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
