As a Polysomnographic Technician at Hardin Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing sleep studies under the supervision of a licensed physician. Key Responsibilities:
- Apply electrodes and sensors, calibrate equipment
- Ensure proper fitting of the positive airways pressure mask
- Perform sleep study tests
- Record and prepare studies for interpretation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of an approved polysomnographic training program
- Current BLS or CPR certification
Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds during a scheduled work shift
