Raleigh Law firm seeking full time employee for an entry-level position as a Balance Verification Specialist for our Personal Injury Department.
Job Duties include but are not limited to: Contacting healthcare providers to confirm client account balances, any adjustment or payment made on account by the proper filing of client health insurance, med pay, charitable write off and other payment entities. Qualified person will also serve as back up as needed to the call center assisting in answering phone calls and transferring those calls to the assigned Attorney and/or Case Manager.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have knowledge of healthcare provider billing practices and the ability to read/understand corresponding medical bill and records.
- Maintain a persuasive professional demeanor with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledgeable computer skills. Be able to proficiently navigate Microsoft products including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Software proficiency and highly accurate document production skills are essential.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
