About the Job

The Water Street Brass location seeks an experienced and motivated individual to join our team and become a key contributor to our continued rapid growth. The Production Lead will support the Finishing Department’s which sets the pace in our production efforts and directly impacts the production throughout our facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily production activities to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare and submit production reports to higher management, summarizing team performance and key metrics.
• Assist with tracking attendance, ensuring proper timekeeping, and communicating scheduling needs to supervisors.
• Identify and address basic production process issues and report them.
• Coordinate the daily activities of the team. Inspire and motivate a cross-trained workforce, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the team and higher management.
• Foster a positive team environment by promoting collaboration and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure adherence to established quality standards. Inspect and report any quality or safety concerns to higher management.
• Other duties as assigned by upper management.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership support role.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication, and decision-making abilities.
• MS Office.
