The HR Generalist position assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations in OH of the HR Department. Duties include; however, not limited to:

Duties
The HR Generalist position assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations in OH of the HR Department. Duties include; however, not limited to:
Recruitment and Retention
- Post job openings, screen candidates, proctor assessments and initially interviews candidates to ensure top talent skills and cultural fit.
- Work with leadership to schedule interviews for candidates, ensuring clear, concise communication throughout hiring process.
- Prepare offer letters and present to candidates. Manage the process of onboarding candidates for a seamless first day of employment.
- Works with leadership and requests temporary employees, as needed.
- Administers incentive and recognition programs such as Hardy Heroes, monthly birthday recognition and posting photos on company TV.
- Oversees Wellness and Fun Committees; including, budgets, events (Health Fair) and involves employees for motivation and engagement.
- Assists with coordinating various trainings for employees, i.e., Harassment Prevention and LEAN.
- Schedules and oversees annual Leadership Retreat and other trainings, as needed.
- Processes and tracks FMLA - Leaves of Absences.
- Oversees breakroom vending machine.
- Processes new hire paperwork and files in HRIS system.
- Purchases fruit for employees weekly.
