Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of Teriyaki Madness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires effective management of staff, coordination of events, and ensuring that all front-of-house operations run smoothly.
Duties
- Manage daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Train, supervise, and mentor staff to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial transactions using Aloha POS systems.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events, working closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house environment that aligns with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service.
- Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff effectively.
- Experience in staff training and development is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including cooking processes, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
