JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mountaineering/Rescue Equipment manufacturer is seeking a qualified Industrial Maintenance/Facilities Technician. This position will be responsible for maintaining facilities and production equipment, attending to machine downtime, and performing other job-related activities. The Maintenance Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain all equipment used in the production facility including Punch Presses, Milling machines, Drill presses, CNC’s and other production equipment.
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:
Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Troubleshoot and repair Punch Press, Mills, Drills, CNC and other production equipment.
· Complete preventive maintenance as scheduled, keeping an accurate log of work completed.
- Read electrical diagrams, parts drawings, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatically controlled systems.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform general Facilities maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a comprehensive spare parts inventory.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ability to following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Use precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Manages and maintains stock of consumables for both production and facilities

- SDS program
- Environmental compliance
- Ability to train forklift operators/box truck drivers.
- Act as backup driver when needed.
- Manage scrap/chip recycling program
Ideal Candidate will have the following skills:
- Troubleshooting experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic and motorized systems, CNC equipment.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, keeping track of multiple projects at a time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools for daily tasks.
- Fabrication experience using a manual lathe, mill, drill press, ect.
Strong working knowledge Hydraulic, Pneumatic and motorized systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
