About the Role:
As a Patient Office Assistant/Mobile Unit Driver, your main responsibility will be to provide administrative support in a medical office setting while also serving as a driver for our mobile unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and the delivery of healthcare services to our patients. Your primary end result will be to contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the medical office and the mobile unit, ultimately improving the overall patient experience and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is obtained and entered into the system.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers and other staff members to optimize the use of resources.
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, organizing, and retrieving patient records as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and mobile unit, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
- Drive the mobile unit to various locations, following a predetermined schedule, and assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for medical procedures.
