About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Production Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our retail design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a passion for design, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, design teams, and fabrication crews, facilitating communication and ensuring clarity on project goals and timelines.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all aspects of production meet the company's high standards for quality and craftsmanship, conducting site visits as necessary.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff to foster a positive team environment, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Address any challenges that arise during the production process, employing critical thinking to develop effective solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their vision is realized throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- A degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management within the retail design or fabrication industry.
- A strong understanding of design and fabrication processes, materials, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
