Join our team and be part of a company that values expertise, quality, and teamwork.Position OverviewSTS Technical Services is seeking a Non-Conforming Material Specialist (Night Shift) for a key position at our York, Pennsylvania location. This role involves working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment to review and process non-conforming materials and manage inventory control using SAP. The candidate will play an essential role in ensuring material quality and compliance with engineering standards.Key Responsibilities : Non-Conformance Processing : Review materials / parts for non-conforming defects and perform all related functions via SAP to ensure accurate records and closure of non-conformance issues.SAP Transactions : Perform systematic transactions in SAP, creating purchase orders and maintaining accurate inventory records.Material Inspection & Inventory Management : Analyze materials against engineering drawings, identify any non-conformance, and manage inventory levels daily.Communication : Clearly communicate non-conformance defects with suppliers and team members both on-site and via email.Quality Control & Analysis : Utilize quality tools to analyze suspect conditions, ensuring that non-conforming materials are processed in compliance with engineering specifications.Cross Shift Collaboration : Attend mandatory cross-shift meetings on Tuesdays at 5 : 40 AM, and actively collaborate with team members to resolve issues.Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and a provided safety vest (safety toe shoes are not provided).Requirements & Qualifications : ERP Systems Experience : 3-6 months of experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office : Strong skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word are required.Quality Experience : Previous quality control or quality assurance experience is preferred.Inventory Management : Logistics experience or inventory control experience is preferred.Engineering Prints : Ability to read and understand engineering prints is a plus.Safety Compliance : Must be able to work in a safety-conscious environment and adhere to safety guidelines.Physical Requirements : Ability to work 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week with the potential for overtime.Working Conditions : Shift : Night Shift – Monday through Thursday, 6 : 45 PM to 5 : 15 AM, with mandatory Tuesday cross-shift meeting starting at 5 : 40 AM.PPE : Safety glasses and safety vest provided; safety toe shoes not provided.Overtime Opportunities : Available based on business needs.Why Join STS Technical Services?At STS Technical Services, we offer a collaborative, dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
