About the Role
The Demand Planning Manager will own the demand planning for North America Lifestyle Consumer Audio SBU. You will play a critical role in our organization, ensuring key KPI goals are met, developing process improvement, and collaborating with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure forecasts are aligned with the Region's Operational forecast. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Operations Planning.
Your Team
You will manage a team of 3 direct reports located in the Northridge, CA office.
What You Will Do
- Continuously improve forecasts through evaluation of promotional activity, inventory levels, consumption, category trends, customer POS / Forecast / inventory data, and allocation plans.
- Prepare, monitor, and publish monthly forecast KPI's (Forecast Accuracy, Bias), identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Lead excess and obsolesces prevention reviews and analyze variances to forecasted items.
- Liaison for the supply planning team with other functional teams (Sales, Ops, Logistics, and Marketing) to incorporate market intelligence into the forecasting environment.
- Partner with Commercial Sales, Finance, and S&OP teams to ensure full alignment / consensus on the forecast.
- Responsible for detailed forecasting duties for the Portable Audio Business unit.
