Role Description
We are looking for Junior Field Services Engineer
You will be a member of the Broadband Services Team
You will be based in Southeast United States
Location
Primarily On-site supporting customers is Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee.
What You Will Be Doing
You will typically be required to travel 3 weeks out of 4 and be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time working through the night in stressful situations.

Role Description
We are looking for Junior Field Services Engineer
You will be a member of the Broadband Services Team
You will be based in Southeast United States
Location
Primarily On-site supporting customers is Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build data center and headend networks used by a major MSO to deliver high speed internet, video and voice in the Southeast Region in the United States
- Provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of networking equipment and systems.
- Operate electrical, optical and DOCSIS test equipment.
- Conduct testing and quality checks on installed hardware and software.
- Be part of a team putting networks into production with no unscheduled interruption in service.
- Serve as a technical liaison between the company and customers, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Train customers on system operation and maintenance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Be able to read and understand network design documentation.
- Mechanical skills to install servers & switches and to install and certify network fiber networks (This requires working on ladders and lifting 40 lbs).
- Have electrical experience to power servers and switches. License not required.
- Have basic computer skills to be able to configure servers & switches with templates and to check for alarms.
- Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
- Familiarity with IP networks, wireless systems, and data center operations.
- Ability to maintain service logs, technical reports, and issue tracking.
- Communicate verbally and in writing. To be able to process and act on instruction
- Ability to work with clients and communicate technical details effectively.
