Position Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled Ocean Import Specialist to facilitate air and ocean import / export processes. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Korean and English, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. This role involves coordinating logistics, customs clearance, and managing accounting tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Import / Export Coordination : Communicate with overseas agents to manage air import and export processes.
- Customs Clearance : Handle customs brokerage to ensure the timely clearance of imported goods.
- Goods Consolidation : Consolidate or deconsolidate shipments as needed for efficient logistics operations.
- Vendor Management : Research and select vendors / agents, arranging timely ground transportation delivery.
- Shipment Tracking : Monitor and update delivery status, communicating information to relevant parties.
- Accounting Tasks : Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and closing activities.
- System Management : Input service information into the internal system for accurate tracking.
- Reporting : Prepare and report service activities to the Part / Team Manager(s).
- Customer Support : Troubleshoot customer inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ad-hoc Projects : Assist with other projects as requested by management.
