Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for a Manager, Market Research & Insights in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the competitive intelligence function for the Commercial business unit. This role will ensure the quality of insights and actionability of CI by becoming knowledgeable of our brand(s) and their markets and competition. The role will also support the MR&I team through implementing, analyzing and summarizing primary market research initiatives for multiple disease areas to support the growing Harmony franchise of products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for monitoring and gathering competitive intelligence via primary and secondary sources for all franchises
- Monitor the competitive landscapes including current and pipeline agents through the lens of clinical, commercial, and financial stakeholders
- Track and share key news events and catalysts to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Work closely with Market Research team to translate competitive intelligence insights into brand strategy implications
- Collaborate with the Market Research team and other internal stakeholders, along with vendor partners, to ensure the successful execution of research initiatives. Operate as the subject manner expert
- Within each project, assist in the analysis and development of insights that lead to actionable recommendations. Outputs may include therapeutic market assessments, diagnostic reports reviews, insight reports, etc.
- Communicate insights across the organization in a clear, strategic and actionable manner
- Share/uncover new and innovative market research techniques to help answer key business questions.
- Support key annual activities such as Brand and Business Planning
- Facilitate reconciliation of the department budget, including monthly reviews with and timely reporting to Finance
- Collaborate with other Harmony departments including Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations & Business Analytics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required in Marketing, Business, Market Research, other related degrees or equivalent; Advanced degree (MBA etc.) is a plus but not required
- 3 years of relevant experience in market research, marketing, business intelligence, and/or competitive intelligence in the Pharmaceutical industry
- Adept at managing all stages of the project life cycle, from inception to presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple projects simultaneously and work independently to deliver timely and accurate information and analyses
- Strong, concise and impactful written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and reporting
- Domestic travel is estimated to be up to 20% of the time for this position.
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
