Job Description
-Guide, Engage and Aid Individual's participation in recreational, social and community activities. Assist them with involvement on their personal goals in order to live their Best Lives!
-Provide transportation to and from activities, programs, appointments and school when needed
-Administer medications to individuals as prescribed by Medical Professionals- we provide Medication Administration training
-Observe individuals for any changes in behavior or health issues. Work with the managers to ensure early detection of potential problems for their continued daily health and safety
-Provide personal care and activities of daily living: dressing, toileting and showering
-Prepare nutritional meals based on individual needs and preferences
-Maintain the home with cleaning, laundry, and other activities as needed
Our Direct Support staff play a critical role in fulfilling the vision and mission of Harmony Care Services! In this role, to be successful, you must be compassionate, reliable, motivated by success of our residents, and dedicated to providing quality support.
Job Requirements Valid driver’s license required. Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check. High School education or GED Equivalent. A current Physical/TB required.
