Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Benefits Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the selection of insurance benefits that best suit their needs. You will leverage your sales expertise and customer service skills to build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they understand their options and make informed decisions. This position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proactive approach to identifying client needs.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate benefit plans.
- Communicate complex insurance information clearly and effectively to clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of benefit plans with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Engage in outside sales activities to expand the client base through networking and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities for effective follow-up.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for improving service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Requirements
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Negotiation skills that enable effective discussions with clients regarding their benefit options.
- Experience in telemarketing or outside sales is a plus but not required.
- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with sales administration processes is beneficial.
- A proactive attitude towards learning about new products and services in the benefits sector.
- Insurance license preferred (If you don’t have a license, no problem! We offer a course to help you earn it)
