Warehouse Supervisor

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor – PM Shift

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager but will also work closely with our Vice President

You will learn about all the brands we represent, selling and merchandising techniques, and will be cross trained in all departments within the organization.

Our night shift operates on a four-day workweek: – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights (possible change during some holiday weeks).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise a crew of 20 - 23 employees who are responsible for picking customer orders and then loading outbound delivery trucks.

· Provide guidance and support.

· Oversee the general operation in the warehouse.

· Research operational improvement opportunities.

· Miscellaneous tasks.

· Other operation related tasks.

SKILLS

· Excellent communication skills: phone, verbal and written.

· You should enjoy working in a team driven environment where your input and efforts are utilized to accomplish our mission objectives.

· Ability to identify issues and work to resolve.

· You must possess a high level of professionalism while working in a team environment.

· Must be able to build and maintain strong relationships.

· Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a time-sensitive operation and to juggle multiple priorities.

· Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and other departments.

· Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum of 4 years of operations related experience

· Possess the skills necessary to effectively communicate with all departments connected and related to the operation

· Willingness to learn

· Ability to act in a professional manner and stay calm while dealing with a conflict situation

· Ability to achieve exceptional performance and expectations

· Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Excel

· Convenience store experience is a plus
