Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

• Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and precision to enhance visual appeal.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pastry tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting in ordering when necessary.
• Maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to special requests or dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong skills in cake decorating and pastry techniques.
• Proficiency in food preparation methods and knowledge of culinary terminology.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various baking tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of food handling safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
