PRIVATE DUTY RN/LPN Bloomfield Hills,MI
We are searching for a RN (Case Manager ) whose primary focus for this role would be providing caregiving for a well educated, social, lovely elderly lady who is wheelchair bound and has dementia but still remains very active. She requires assistance with ADLs, etc.. Require expertise with patient transfers using various methods ( Freedom Transfer, Sit & Stand and Hoyer Lift , Transfer Belt, Slide Board or other devices). Must be physically able to assist with lifting her.
The position also includes acting as House Manager, which involves scheduling and supervising other (non-RN) caregivers for a small 24/7 team. In addition, this individual will handle driving client to doctor appointments (house van provided) and other destinations (i.e. luncheon engagements), running errands, grocery shopping, handling vendors for household repairs, purchasing household supplies, etc.. The schedule for the RN/LPN/Caregiver will be primarily 3-4 (12 hour) Days Shifts. Some flexibility with hours will be needed for training, vacations, etc. Wonderful opportunity for a Nurse who wants to utilize their technical skills but also enjoy a wider variety of responsibilities in a private residence.
