What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Aide - Hospitality Management position at Harper College?
Duties of Position :
- Primary duties of the position include food weighing, packaging and pricing in the Hospitality Management kitchens.
- Assist with preparing student created food products for sale to the public.
- Procedures must be followed to maintain sanitary conditions and comply with food handling regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements : In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer).
Preferred Experience : Experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality-related environment. Current Hospitality Management student preferred.
Schedule Information : Will determine schedule based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following hours :
Monday 7am - 9pm
Tuesday 7am - 9pm
Wednesday 7am - 9pm
Thursday 7am - 9pm
NOTE : The Hospitality Management Department does not currently offer summer work hours.
