Job Summary
The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the management, optimization, and performance monitoring of company’s hospitality assets. This role involves financial modeling, data analysis, market research, and reporting to ensure effective asset utilization and investment decision-making.
Financial Analysis & Performance Tracking:
- Develops and maintains financial models to analyze hotel performance, cash flow projections, and return on investments.
- Drafts asset-level business plans, budgets, and performance variance analyses.
- Responsible for tracking key performance indicators.
- Responsible for summarizing financial performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Operational & Asset Management Support:
- Monitors hotel operations to ensure alignment with business plans and revenue targets.
- Partners with hotel operators to assess financial performance, cost structures, and efficiency opportunities.
- Conducts site visits to evaluate physical conditions, competitive positioning, and management effectiveness.
- Assists in overseeing brand compliance and quality assurance inspections.
Market Research & Strategic Planning:
- Conducts market research to track supply/demand trends, competitive positioning, and economic factors affecting hospitality assets.
- Supports investment decisions by providing data-driven analysis for acquisitions, renovations, and repositioning strategies.
- Assists in the evaluation of revenue-enhancing and cost-saving initiatives across the portfolio.
Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance:
- Works with property managers, operators, and internal teams to implement asset management strategies.
- Assists in preparing lender and investor reports, ensuring compliance with financial covenants.
- Tracks regulatory developments and industry trends that may impact hotel asset performance.
What You’ll Bring- Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality asset management, real estate finance, hotel operations, or investment analysis
- Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office, to include Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in managing and prioritizing a variety of tasks
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to resolve matters independently
- Ability to work well with others internally and externally, including frequent interaction with investor accounting and operations teams
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Travel up to 50% may be required

The typical base salary hiring range for this role is $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year, plus bonus program participation.
The pay range is a base pay only and does not include any additional compensation or bonuses that this position may be eligible for. The pay range is approximate and the actual pay may vary depending on related work experience, certifications, education, and other job related factors.
