Operations Engineer – Addison, TX
Our client is a leading developer in Data Center Development and Operations with presence across North America and Europe. The company is rapidly expanding and operates in 10 different markets throughout North America.
They are looking for an experienced Operations Engineer who would be supporting the operations team in high level facility design/engineering, commissioning and technical troubleshooting. You will also be supporting the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams on complex one-off electrical and mechanical systems design.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct and report on root cause analysis of facility incidents.
- Support ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work.
- Support commissioning related activities.
- Work closely with Design and Solution Engineering teams.
- Support vendor management.
Qualifications:
5-10 years’ experience in data center or mission critical role in the operation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, and a variety of building / maintenance trades.
Considerable knowledge of the statutory occupational health and safety requirements.
Strong computer program knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint.
Experienced in BMS and CMMS software.
Experience in Operation and maintenance of water pumps and treatment systems, HVAC, UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control and monitoring systems.
