Our client, a national consulting firm, has recently expanded its presence in Florida’s land development market through a strategic acquisition. With an existing pipeline of projects and strong leadership aiming to expand based on client demand, they are seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT or PE) to join their growing Orlando team.

Role Overview

As a Civil Engineer, you will be involved in site development projects across Florida, collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects while contributing to the firm’s regional expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage civil site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
• Perform site layout, permitting, and engineering analysis to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and multi-disciplinary teams to drive projects from concept to completion.
• Assist in expanding the firm's market presence by supporting business development efforts and client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with leadership on project strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• EIT or PE license required (Florida PE preferred or ability to obtain).
• 4-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
• Knowledge of Florida land development codes, permitting, and regulatory processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
