Responsibilities
- Support meat department operations, including processing and preparation of fresh meat products
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company food safety guidelines
- Follow proper equipment procedures, including cleaning and maintenance requirements
- Adhere to all proper procedures for packaging, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and labeling of product
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a retail butcher or meat production environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
