What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant position at Harriman Associates?
Harriman’s multi-disciplinary design practice is seeking graphic designer to join our internal Marketing and Business Development team. In this role the right candidate will utilize his/her graphic design skills in creating marketing and branding materials and content. You will work directly with our marketing team - to design impactful, unified digital, print, and presentation materials (among other creative projects).
Responsibilities Include:
- Create/ Prepare/Update BD materials including but not limited to general business development presentations and proposals, and RFP submissions
- Support with client-facing presentations
- Build presentations for team speaking engagements
- Design invitations and collateral for internal and externals events and firm initiatives
- Assist in maintaining and updating firm graphic identity and the creation of graphic standards as needed
- Develop advertising and sponsorship materials
- Assist in organizing/maintaining extensive image library and develop/ maintain shared reference image library
- Collaborate on social and digital content and visuals
- Manage other materials including business cards, holiday cards, gifts and packaging
- Assist with marketplace research in firm’s market sectors.
What will set you apart:
- Min. 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Graphic Design).
- Extensive experience within Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience within a PC network environment
- Experience with MS Office incl. PowerPoint as needed
- Highly visual, meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to work (and multi-task) on projects at every scale in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with an ability to see projects through from inception to production
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to pitch-in and assist where needed in a team-oriented culture
