What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Specialist position at Harrington Process Solutions?
Responsibilities:
Assisting in day-to-day operations by communication and responding to emails, issues with shipping and receiving errors.
Partner daily with sales team, vendors, and customers to streamline processes, build relationships, and execute and drive profitable growth for the organization.
Oversee daily operations to ensure activities align with established procedures and standards. Streamlining workflows to eliminate inefficiencies and improve productivity.
Assist in documenting and updating SOPS on WMS (warehouse management system), logistics and warehouse, sales, and accounting.
Collecting and analyzing operational data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actional insights. Presenting findings to leadership to inform decision-making.
Leading and coordinating special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency or implementing new processes. Developing project timelines, budgets, and milestones. Ensuring projects stay on track.
Discovering shipping and receiving issues, gathering information, and formulating a solution.
Daily partnership and communication with Operations team and warehouse manager.
Maintain Quality program logs, test results on Accu-Test, FAQ, and Verification Testing.
Maintain Vender NCR’s.
Maintain Quality program and keep all revisions current.
Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
Maintain accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policy.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Manage sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Assist with other projects as needed, and other duties as assigned.
