JOB TITLE: Inside Contractor Sales
REPORT TO: Store Manager
Shift: 8 hours a day. Must be available to open store and/or close store – Monday-Saturday on a rotating shift.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Required minimum of 2 years LBM experience
- 100% customer focused
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with contractors, outside sales person and homeowner
- Proven lumber and building materials knowledge are essential
- Detailed oriented
- Tech savvy – must be able to maneuver easily between systems
- Quick learner

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Handles quotes for contractors on all aspects of residential and commercial construction projects
- Creates and detail special orders, estimates and invoices
- Maintains impeccable customer service relationships
- Helps coordinate deliveries
- Helps pull orders as needed
- Assists customers as they approach contractor’s desk
- Helps stock shelves when not needed at the contractor’s desk
- Learns to run register as a backup if needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to reach, bend, climb ladder safely
