Location: Albany or Syracuse, NY offices

Description: Harris Beach Murtha Cullina PLLC is seeking three (3) Class of 2027 law students to participate in our 10-week summer program in our Albany or Syracuse, NY offices. The summer associates will have the opportunity to work on writing and research assignments with a variety of practice areas, both litigation and transactional law, across all HBM offices. Each summer associate will be assigned a partner and an associate mentor to meet with regularly throughout the summer. They will provide guidance and feedback for navigating formal and informal processes at Harris Beach Murtha and assist in identifying opportunities to participate in firm activities. The Syracuse office is hiring one (1) summer associate and the Albany office is hiring two (2). In addition to the general program, the Albany office is accepting applications from students who have a particular interest in Energy Law, to work directly with our growing Energy practice. The weekly salary for this position is $2,170.

Qualifications:

• Class of 2027 J.D. student enrolled at an ABA accredited law school.
• Top 25% of their law school class with law journal, review and/or moot court experience preferred.
• Students should have an interest in starting their legal career in the office location(s) in which they apply.
