What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Harris Brand?
The purpose of your role as a Graphic Designer
As a Graphic Designer, you will drive communication projects with emphasis on print and online graphic design, such as internal communications, external communications and design and brand management.
- Design ads, brochures, sell sheets, project sheets, PPT, signage, trade show banners, RFPs, etc.) using proven design principles.
- Present ideas to internal clients and make changes and refine ideas based on client feedback
- Drive website design changes
- Organize and prepare printed marketing materials graphics, brochures following the company brand identity guide while applying out of the box thinking to design a variety of effective communication materials.
- Internal communications: proof and execute intranet postings and troubleshoot functionality, make website additions and changes, provide and maintain lobby monitors content, etc.
- External communications: post on social media and website, produce newsletter, do email blasts, surveys, etc.
- Produce a range of materials to support the company’s business development efforts. Proof own and others’ work for accuracy, AP style adherence, tone, brand and feel.
- Maintain awareness of competition branding as well as trends both in the construction industry and broader design trends overall and be provide informed suggestions as well as ongoing work that keeps branding current and fresh.
- Manage new employee photo process and take photos at job sites as needed
- Assist in the producing, coordinating, editing, and on-location support for video marketing shoots
What we're looking for in you
- Associates degree required in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Digital design, or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience concepting and designing compositions, layouts, templates
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Acrobat)
- Solid understanding and expertise in motion graphics, typography and animation, with a sharp eye for composition, color, lighting, shadow, and motion.
- Strong visual awareness and ability to create high-quality graphics, both still and animated.
- Understanding of photography principles, including depth of field, shutter speed, aperture, composition, and framing for seamless VFX integration.
- Ability to develop constructive, collaborative and consultative relationships with team and internal customers across the country and maintain them over time.

Pay Range: $23.69 - $35.53 per hour
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
