What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Harris Brand?
The purpose of your role as a Warehouse Associate
As a Warehouse Associate you will complete shipments by processing and loading orders. Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse items. Ensures tools are in working order. Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts. Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks.
This is a fully on-site position based out of our Rochester, MN office.
- Shipping and receiving:
- Receive material – check freight bill and purchase order against physical shipment for purchase orders, damage, etc.
- Locate and prepare material for shipping
- Pick tool orders for shipment to job sites, restock tools in warehouse, and repair defective tools.
- Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.
- Coordinate unloading with crafts and note field stores requisition
Inventory Management:
- Ensure all items are warehoused (stored) according to fieldwork procedures and company standards.
- Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Misc.:
- May be requested to make deliveries as needed
- Exterior maintenance of building including shoveling snow, spraying weeds, cleaning up debris, etc.
- Move office equipment – desks, cabinets, tables, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
What we're looking for in you
- Basic shipping and receiving knowledge
- Basic construction tool knowledge
- Ability to effectively communicate – written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift training preferred
- Driving record that meets company guidelines
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test

Pay Range: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
