What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Vets Plus, Inc.?
Summary of the Position:Aid in the shipping and receiving of products and materials to meet business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completing required logs for each truck that is delivering items.
- Responsible for verification of each pack slip that is received and noting any discrepancies.
- Responsible for transferring any items to their designated areas and applying required labeling.
- Responsible for ensuring that all raw material stock is rotated so the oldest Lot number is used first.
- Responsible for monitoring stock control systems and processing specific orders.
- Responsible for assisting in storage orders correctly for delivery.
- Responsible for packaging orders including but not limited to shrink wrapping contents onto pallets.
- Responsible for operating equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.
- Responsible for assisting in the accuracy of inventory levels.
- Ability to assist with picking orders.
- Assist with placing finished good in their designated locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and repetitious motion.
- Ability to read and write in English and basic math skills.
- Ability to work in various temperature ranges.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a factory or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Forklift Operation experience and certification is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
