POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Manager at Harris Premium Beef will oversee all logistics operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation coordination, and supply chain optimization. This role is critical in ensuring that our premium beef packages are delivered to customers efficiently, and with the highest standards of quality.

OBJECTIVES
- Supply Chain Management
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for premium beef packages.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Optimize supply chain workflows to reduce costs and delivery times.
- Inventory Control
- Manage inventory levels to ensure consistent product availability.
- Implement tracking systems to monitor stock and anticipate replenishment needs.
- Collaborate with production teams to align inventory with order forecasts.
- Order Fulfillment
- Manage the pick, pack, and ship process for customer orders.
- Develop efficient packaging and labeling solutions to uphold brand standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with order accuracy or delays.
- Operational Efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics performance.
- Monitor shipping costs and recommend strategies for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Performance Monitoring
- Set KPIs for delivery times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Use data-driven insights to measure performance and make informed decisions.
- Regularly report on logistics metrics and suggest operational improvements.
- Customer Service Coordination
- Collaborate with customer service to resolve logistics-related inquiries.
- Ensure clear communication with customers on delivery expectations and updates.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with food safety and transportation regulations.
- Uphold the company’s high-quality standards for USDA Organic Certified products.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in e-commerce or food distribution.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization tools and software.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
