Job Description: Groton Combat Systems Assessment/System of Systems Interoperability and Mission Area Assessment (CSA/SOSIMAA) (System Analyst)
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the CSA/SOSIMAA test director located in the Groton STSC area (must provide their own office space) in support of the Code 275 Branch Manager. Generate Dockside and at Sea CSA Completion messages. Coordinate and de-conflict CSA and SOSIMAA testing with submarines and shipyards to minimize impact to scheduled availability delivery dates. Though most of the effort will be conducted in or near the Groton, CT (STSC) and Portsmouth, NH (PNSY) areas, occasional travel will be required to Norfolk, VA and Newport News, VA.
Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance required
- GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years full time experience in Navy programs acquisition and lifecycle support.
- Three (3) years full time experience in Submarine Forward Electronic Systems acquisition and lifecycle support.
- Possess knowledge of:
- DoD/Navy systems and programs acquisition; and
- Navy systems requirements, standards, and procedures; and
- Navy procurement and acquisition; and
- Navy configuration management, data management, and program management
