Position Description
An exciting internship opportunity awaits you with the Harris County Toll Road Authority! If you are a rising college sophomore through senior, HCTRA has opportunities in our Customer Service, Engineering & Construction, Finance, Human Resources, Operations & Facilities, Public Safety, and Tolling Operations departments. Depending on your major and interest, you could gain hands-on-experience learning the engineering behind roadway construction projects, assists in our state-of-the-art dispatch center, or assisting in improving the customer experience just to name a few. Previous college interns have helped create algorithms with our tolling Operations teams and drafted program manuals.
If you want to learn in a real-world environment and have an interest in transportation, tolling, or local government, this internship is for you! HCTRA has a limited number of positions available for Summer, 2025. If this sounds exciting, read the eligibility requirements and steps to apply below. This internship program will run from Monday, June 2, 2025, to Friday August 8, 2025.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student
- Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- Must have a minimum of 30 credit hours earned
- Entering Sophomore, Junior, Senior year
- Cannot be on academic probation
