Sidewalk Team Responsibilities
- Pre/Post use inspection of truck & equipment
- Snow removal of sidewalks with professional snow blowers and shovels.
- Ice management of sidewalks with salt products
- Monitoring of sites to ensure safe conditions
- Communicate with other teams and route manager throughout storm
- Perform basic maintenance of equipment and small repairs in the field as needed
The right candidate will have the following
- Have the flexibility to work around the weather, including rain, snow & ice.
- Have the ability to work long hours, including irregular hours. Nights, weekends and overtime will be required.
- Understand the importance of quality of work and have the attention to detail to provide this
- Willingness to collaborate and step up as a leader
- Willingness to communicate openly with direct employees and managers
- Ability to meet company cleanliness standards and monitor the quality of work
Other requirements include
- Valid drivers license and clean record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- MA DOT card or the ability to obtain one
- Applicants with military experience encouraged to apply
This is an on-call seasonal position. Must be wiling to be on call 24/7 - working during inclement weather, to include weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
