Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, outgoing, energetic, and knowledgeable Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of orthodontic assisting experience and demonstrates a passion for patient care and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist with all aspects of clinical orthodontic procedures, including:
- Placing and removing braces and appliances.
- Adjusting arch wires and monitoring progress during orthodontic adjustments.
- Fabricating retainers and other orthodontic appliances.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and appliance care to ensure successful treatment outcomes.
- Take high-quality digital impressions, x-rays, and photographs as needed for treatment planning and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.
- Provide exceptional patient care, creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages.
- Support team members by contributing to the overall flow and efficiency of the office.
- Stay informed about the latest orthodontic techniques and tools to ensure the highest quality care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Orthodontic Assistant.
- Certification a DA I (CPR & Dental Radiography Certification)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of care.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, tools, and technologies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
